Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend P.Amirjanov / On 23 July the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, sent a congratulatory letter to Mrs. Pratibha Patil on winning the Indian presidential elections.
In his message, the Azerbaijani leader said his country places particular emphasis on the enhancement of relationships with India. Ilham Aliyev wished Pratibha Patil good health, happiness and a long life, and also for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of India.
