Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / MP Aydin Mirzazadeh, the member of Political Council of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party and member of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the European Union (PACE), has stated that clarity, democracy and objectivity will be guaranteed at each stage of upcoming Presidential elections in Azerbaijan. All stages of the elections will be under observation of communities and the EU.

Mirzazadeh considers that Azerbaijan will not have problems in holding democratic elections. The elections will be held on the highest level. The strongest side will win, Mirzazadeh said. However, opposition may not recognize the results of the elections as they do every time.

"I consider that this is a problem of opposition. This is not general problem. The number of opposition parties decrease every time," he added. "I believe that approaching presidential elections will be held democratically," Mirzazadeh added.

The presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan in October 2008.
