Kazakhstan, Astana / Trend corr К.Konirova / The Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Clerical Port, Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh, held meeting with the CIS member-countries' religious representatives in Astana.
"Meetings dedicated to discussions of relevant problems and ways of their settlement are usually useful, Pashazadeh said.
Pashazadeh visited Astana due to the event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the chairman of the Religious Department of Kazakhstan, Absattar Derbi Sali.
There are huge and positive changes in Kazakhstan thanks to the President Nursultan Nazarbayev's policy, Pashazadeh said.
Touching upon the current role of Islam in Caucasus, Pashazadeh said Islam was immateriality and restoration of moral values. "The real religion never causes danger," Pashazadeh said.
