Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Agayeva / The Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan is holding a competition among journalists titled Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan - Stability and Mutual Interests. The competition coincides with the completion of the Year of Russian Language in Azerbaijan.
Employees of printed and electronic media, radio and TV may take part in the competition. Work must be submitted in Russian and must be written on one of the following topics: 'Russia-Azerbaijan: current state of world policy and national interests with long-term prospects'; 'Relationships between Russia and Azerbaijan - great opportunities for mutual business development'; 'Russian and Azerbaijani program on humanitarian cooperation for 2007-2009 is important mechanism of development of overall relations and contacts between the nations of two countries'; 'Diaspora - stumbling block or unification tool'; 'Persons in Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan'.

One overall winner and five prize-winners will be announced as a result of the competition. They will receive honorary diplomas and six bonuses - 1st bonus - $600, two 2nd bonuses - $400 and three 3rd bonuses - $200.
