The Sumgait History Museum began celebratory activities for the city's sixtieth anniversary.
Lectures on "Sumgait's History," "History of Sumgait Friendly Relations," and "Sumgait Cultural History" were delivered at cultural and educational institutions. The "Sumgait History" traveling exhibition was also held, the city's administration told Trend today.
Museum representatives met with elders and intellectuals who contributed to Sumgait's construction and development.
