Next interactive survey on the State Social Protection Fund's website (www.sspf.gov.az) is complete. The survey targeted developing relations with public, studying the level of population's awareness on pension and insurance reforms and strengthening sufficient propaganda among population.
During the current survey the respondents answered a question: "Do you know the amount of your pension depends on the amount of payments of compulsory state social insurance after the introduction of individual registration system?".
As a result of survey, 33.6 per cent of respondents answered to this question negatively. 31.5 percent said they did not have information about it, and 34.9 percent gave an affirmative answered.
The results of the survey showed 65.1 per cent of respondents were unaware that amount of the pension depends on the amount of payments of compulsory state insurance.
In accordance with law on "Labor pension", which came into force on Apr.1, 2006, pensions are fixed on the basis of individual registration systems. After introduction of individual registration the amount of fixed pension depends on insurance experience and the amount of payments of compulsory public insurance.
