The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) will hold 17th Open Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship in Baku, Feb.5-6
Some 118 athletes from different countries will attend the competition, the AGF reported
Eight athletes from Ganja, two from Bulgaria, four from Georgia and nine from Ukraine together with athletes from Baku Gymnastics School, Republican Sports School complex, Neftchi and Tyahsil, Spartacus and Syarhyadchi, Zirve and other Interior Ministry's sport societies will participate in the competition
Athletes from Khirdalan will also show performances
Gymnasts will be divided into four age groups including 13-15- year old, 10-year old and 8-9-year old
They will compete in the individual all-around
Local referees as well as Georgian, Ukrainian and international category referees Bulgarian Maria Petrova and Serbian Dragan Terzic will evaluate athletes' performances.
The competitions will start at 10:00 a.m. Feb. 5 and at 11:00 a.m. Feb.6 in Baku Olympic Sport Complex
