Azerbaijani MP awarded in Turkey

Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva was awarded the "Zeki Velidi Togan-2010" award established by the Eurasian Economic Relations Circle in Turkey.
Among the individuals to receive awards are Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus President Dervis Eroglu, Turksoy General Director Dushen Kaseynov, Ankara Municipality Head Mustafa Ak Kecioren, Turkish representative of the International Fund for Black Sea Cooperation Ismail Safi, Ahi Evran University Professor Gursad Zorlu, and Turksam head Sinan Ogan.
Prizes will be awarded on the first day of the international symposium on "The Turkic World in the 21st Century" in Northern Cyprus on Dec. 2.
The symposium is held by the Eurasian Economic Relations Circle and Lefke University. Among the attendees will be deputies, social, political and scientific leaders, historians and media representatives from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Kosovo and Macedonia.
The symposium is expected to discuss cooperation and investment opportunities and integration processes in the Turkic world. Sixty-five speakers are expected to give lectures at the forum.
