The U.S.-Azerbaijan Education Center will be opened today. A fair "Education in the United States" will also be organized, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend.
The fair will be held from 15:00 to 17:00 and will be open to those wishing to study in the USA.
The U.S. and Azerbaijani students educated in the United States will share knowledge on the State Stanford and Florida universities, the University of Missouri, Johns Hopkins University and Boston University.
The U.S.-Azerbaijan Education Center is a new center, uniting such organizations as Council of America, IREX, Baku Education Information Centre and the U.S.-Educated Azerbaijan Alumni Association (AAA). One can get information about educational opportunities in the U.S. and exchange programs with the U.S. schools.
This center in Azerbaijan is absolutely new idea," U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza said.
"The U.S.-Azerbaijan Education Center will provide an opportunity to everyone interested in studying in the U.S. directly contact the U.S. universities, get familiar with our embassy's exchange programs," Bryza said.
