Given the danger in the Agsu pass, the activities of all the facilities in this area will be stopped, chief engineer of the team from the Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology unit of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR) Shaig Niftiyev told Trend on Monday.
He said this decision was made during the discussion of the situation in the territory with the relevant authorities.
"The activities of all man-made facilities in the territory will be stopped. A full stop of all human activities and the conduct of large-scale accurate hydrogeological engineering works at Agsu pass are planned," he added.
He said only traffic of cars is allowed at Agsu pass. Traffic of passenger vehicles and trucks is temporarily prohibited.
