Iran has supported the initiative of establishing an Azerbaijan cultural centre in Tehran and this work is currently underway, Iran's presidential adviser and chairman of the Islamic Culture and Relations Mohammad Bagher Hurramshad told Trend today.
Until today, Azerbaijan, Russia, India, Japan and Iraq made the proposals to establish cultural centres in Iran, he said.
"We have responded positively to the wishes of most of these countries, but supported Azerbaijan's appeal immediately," he said.
