Azerbaijan’s national pavilion has received the Special Award and took second place at the Beijing Expo 2019 exhibition for the exterior-interior design and composition, Trend reports on Oct. 8.
Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Singapore and the Netherlands also received this award along with Azerbaijan.
Qatar, the UK, Germany and Japan received the award for the first place.
The exhibition was held from April 29 to October 7.
Azerbaijan’s national pavilion was represented at the exhibition through the support of the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
The general concept of the national pavilion entitled "Azerbaijan: Harmony of Nature and Art" features Azerbaijan’s steady development and its commitment to its history and traditions.
