The National TV and Radio Council (NTRC) will hold an annual conference on the results of 2005 in late January, the Council told Trend.
The gathering will be held on 23 or 24 January. It should be mentioned that the annual conferences of NTRC are usually staged on the day of establishment of the body i.e. 22 January, but the current event will be held on 24 January, as the date occurs to day off.
The conference will give information about the activities of NTRC over 2005. The Council will publicize the information on the monitoring of the activities of TV channels, issue of license to new channels, as well as prolongation of licenses of the existing channels. Besides, the Council plans to stage a meeting, as appropriate decisions on TV channels are made at the meeting.
It should be mentioned that the conference will mark the 3rd anniversary of NTRC.
