The World Bank (WB) is ready to set to developing the concept draft of the assistance which will be made to Azerbaijan in the following 4 years, the World Bank leading economist for Azerbaijan Christian Petersen said in a statement during the meeting with the Education Minister Misir Mardanov, the Ministry told Trend.
According to him, after coordinating the project will be submitted for consideration to the World Bank senior executives, which will take a decision on its funding. Petersen voiced his satisfaction with the projects implemented in Azerbaijan within the cooperation, as well as educational reforms underway. WB will go on to assist Azerbaijan in this field, he said.
The Azerbaijan Education Minister stated during the meeting with the WB spokesman, Azerbaijan is ready to continue cooperating with WB at the second stage of the Educational sector development. He informed in detail of the projects and programs being implemented in Azerbaijan aimed at improving the educational system.
