On Saturday the Azerbaijani Association of Judges and the Association of Specialized Judges held a joint meeting. The meeting discussed improvement of activities of judges, Trend reports.
Aladdin Jafarov, the head of the Azerbaijani Association of Judges, who presided at the meeting, informed the participants of the meeting that one of the major tasks coming from the 19 January 2006 decree by President Ilham Aliyev on improvement of activities of judges was to recorg keepng in the general and specialized courts. The participants of the meetings dicussed the instructions on record keeping and put forward proposals.
Besidesm they considered activities of the judges of the first instance. Jafarov stressed that this process would be over till October. The discussion of the members of the associations will also complete till this term.
Jafarov said that the minutes of the meeting would be presented to the Legal Council for consideration.
