Azerbaijan collected team of boxers was appointed with its composition for participating in European championship scheduled for July 14 in Plovdiv.
The team will be presented in all eleven weight categories, and the Bulgarian ring will be attended by Jeyhun Abiyev (48 kg), Samir Mammadov (51 kg), Rahim Najafov (54 kg), Shahin Imranov (57 kg), Ramal Amanov (60 kg), Emil Maharramov (64 kg), Ruslan Khayirov (69 kg), Javid Tagiyev (75 kg), Zaur Teymurov (81 kg), Elchin Alizade (91 kg) and Amil Karimov (91 kg), Trend reports with reference to Mammad Eyvazov, chief trainer of the national team. Besides, Niftali Guliyev, referee of international category, will also leave for Bulgaria to represent Azerbaijan in referee corpus.
In the final championship, the team gained two bronze medals.
