A Program has been signed in Baku for the co-operation between the Ministry of Culture & Tourism of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Sport & Tourism of Belarus in 2007-2008, Trend reports.
The document was signed by the Azerbaijani Minister of Culture & Tourism, Abulfaz Garayev and the Belarusian Minister of Sport & Tourism, Alexander Grigorov. The document confirmed the co-operation of the two countries with regards to tourism. The program envisages co-operation of tourism resources, commodities and infrastructure, tourism marketing, education, studies and researches in the sphere of tourism, co-operation within international organizations
The Azerbaijani Minister of Culture & Tourism assessed the signing of the program as a new support to the expansion of the co-operation of the two countries with regards to tourism. He voiced his confidence that the number of the tourist tours between the two countries will increase in the near future. Presently Azerbaijan is developing the tourism industry and we intend to use the experience of other countries, including the Belarus, the Minister stated.
Belarusian Minister of Sport & Tourism pointed out the interest of his Country towards the full co-operation with Azerbaijan. He expressed its readiness to exchange the experience with Azerbaijan, co-ordinate the activities within the international organizations, assist Azerbaijan in training staffs and developing tourism commodities, etc.
