The head of the House of Azerbaijan society in Strasburg, Mustafa Alinj, informed Trend that a rally will be held in Strasburg on the 15th anniversary of the Khojali Genocide.
The House of Azerbaijan society has prepared a program of activities and propaganda measures to bring to the attention of the French people the realities of the genocide which were committed by the Armenians against the Azeri people in Khojali.
On February 24th, a rally will be held in Palace Kleber in the center of Strasburg, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Khojali Genocide a blot in the history of the 20th century. A relevant permit has been received for it. To ensure the participation of the Azerbaijanis residing in Alsace and Turk Societies, meetings are being held in those societies. The preparation is going on at a high level and a permit has been received from the district of Strasburg and the local police department. During the rally, books in English and French and newspapers in French will be distributed to provide information on the genocide in Khojali. A report on the rally will be presented to officials of the International Criminal Court, Council of Europe and European Union, Alinj stated.
