Examination for Advocate Rank to be Announced
Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / An examination will be held for the candidates who have successfully passed the tests to the Collegium of Advocates of Azerbaijan.
According to information provided by the Collegium of Advocates, the members of the Executive Committee of the Collegium held a meeting on 10 April. During the meeting, a decision was made to hold the examination from 4 May. Primarily the examination will be held for the candidates who live in Nakchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. The examination for the candidates from Baku and other regions will commence from 8 May. The candidates will be required to answer a set of legal questions within 30 minutes. The candidates who receive the highest marks will be included in the Collegium.
The examination commission will consist of 11 members. 441 lawyers have submitted applications to attend the examination on 4 March. 299 candidates who have achieved 50 or more marks in the examinations have received the right to attend the second examination.
