BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 26. The assets of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) increased as of October 1, 2022, SOFAZ told Trend on October 26.
According to the fund, this figure equaled $45.38 billion, up by 0.8 percent on annual basis.
From January through September this year, the fund's income amounted to almost 11.36 billion manat ($6.68 billion), and expenses - 6.56 billion manat ($3.86 billion).
In the reporting period, revenues of SOFAZ related to the implementation of oil and gas agreements stood at 15.88 billion manat ($9.34 billion), of which 15.1 billion manat ($8.8 billion) came from the sale of oil and gas, 768.7 million manat ($452.18 million) – from bonus payments, and 7.2 million manat ($4.2 million) – from transit.
Meanwhile, the market value of SOFAZ assets decreased by 4.5 billion manat ($2.6 billion) due to short-term price fluctuations.
