Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend .U.Ismayilova / The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry has publicized the results of the insurance companies' activities in Azerbaijan in January to September of 2007.
Total premiums by top 10 insurance companies functioning in the country made up AZN 101.42mln amid claims of AZN 24.2mln.
The top ten companies were as follows:

Amount of claims, which did not enter the top 10 of instance companies vary from AZN 0.04mln to AZN 3.08mln.
According to of the National Ban of Azerbaijan, on 25 October the USD rate in regard to AZN was AZN 0.84.
