Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Aliyev / The Korean automobile company Daewoo delivered 68 new buses to Azerbaijan. The presentation of the buses will be held in Baku on 12 November, the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry reported on 9 November. The company is planning to deliver 132 buses to Azerbaijan by the end of the year.
Daewoo signed an agreement with the Azerbaijani private company Trans Geyt to deliver 200 buses to Azerbaijan. Earlier, under the agreement the buses were planning to deliver to Azerbaijan in August, however due to some changes in the agreement the delivery was delayed
Azerbaijan purchase new buses in compliance with the decree issued by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on transport.
Some part of old buses will be sent to regions, but the other part to be withdrawn from the use.
