Aliyeva/ Fifteen illegally constructed outlets were pulled down in the Lankaran region of Azerbaijan from January to February, the head of the Construction and Architecture Department at the Lankaran Administration Matlab Ibrahimov said. Last year, 57 illegal outlets were pulled down in the region.
According to Ibrahimov, this year construction-related checks were carried out only in Lankaran. Checks in Lankaran's villages will commence in March.
The illegal constructions are being pulled down through the decision by the court based on the lawsuit of the Lankaran Administration.
Lankaran has a population of 204,000 people and is located 270km south of Baku.
