Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 April / corr Trend U.Ismayilova / Activity of the real estate market in Baku (sales and purchases) rose by 25% in March compared to February, Nusret Ibrahimov, the Director General of consulting company MBA Group said on 7 April.
"Increased activity in the market is a result of the seasonal factor," Ibrahimov said that. The activity was observed in the land segment of the market.
According to experts' estimations, prices rose by 3.2% at the land market in Baku and dwelling by 1.5%.
The lowest activity in the Azerbaijani real estate market, which has been experiencing a boom for over 15 years, was observed in September 2007, after the collapse of a 16-storey building in August leading to death of 25 people. During this period the activity of the market was reduced by 34%.
