New Pedestrian Bridge Launched in Azerbaijani Northern Region

Azerbaijan, Baku, 12 June / Trend corr A. Gafarov/ A new pedestrian bridge in the Antar village in the Azerbaijani Guba region (170km north of Baku) was put into operation on 12 June.  

The bridge was constructed over the Agchay River, dividing Antar into two parts. Previously, a bridge was constructed here in 1972. As it was made up of wood, torrent pulled it down.

Construction of the new 2-km bridge cost AZN 20,000. It was built through the means of the Antar municipality within 2 months.
