Azerbaijan, Baku, 9 October / corr Trend S.Babayeva / їA new factory on repeated processing of paper waste in Azerbaijan, which is to be put into operation in 2008, will cover fully the countryїs demand in industrial paper,ї Mehran Mammadov, head of business and investments department of the holding, said.
їWe plan to produce paper of various types and launch the production of cardboard, napkins and, probably, newspaper paper by stages,ї Mammadov said
The enterprise will produce 50,000 tons of paper a year and 40,000-42,000 tons will cover countryїs domestic demand. Other part of production is planned for export.
The company will open 30 stations on purchase of spoilt sheet to provide the factory with raw material.
The project can recoup its expenses during four or five years, Azersun said. Putting into operation of new factory will enable to open 1,150 constant jobs.
Azersun hoding was set up in 1992. The spheres of its activities are processing and packing of tea, vegetable oil, commerce and distribution, construction, banking, insurance, production of cardboard and paper manufacture, canned meat and vegetable, transportation and storage of load.
