Prices for constructing apartment buildings increase in Azerbaijan

Prices for constructing apartment buildings increased 24.5 percent in the fourth quarter of 2008, and 0.9 percent in the third quarter of 2008, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee reported.

Prices for constructing 5-floor apartment buildings increased 23.5 percent, and 26.5 percent for 6-floor and larger apartment buildings.

The price index for building and assembly jobs increased 0.7 percent.

The price index for restoration activities on residential buildings increased by over 5 percent.
