Amendments to the Azerbaijani tax code will be submitted to the country's parliament by May 15, First Deputy Tax Minister Natiq Amirov said on April 30.
At present the Cabinet of Ministers is discussing amendments to the code. The amendments, basically, concern cutting tax rates and creating more favorable environment for entrepreneurship," Amirov said.
He said it is planned to cut income tax rate by two percent to 20 percent as minimum.
These amendments will come to power on Jan. 1 in 2010.
