Azerbaijan takes practical measures to develop regions: president

Azerbaijani state is taking practical measures for the development of all regions, and successfully implements programs on socio-economic development of regions of the country, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who met with representatives of the public of Azerbaijan's Agsu district, AzerTAj state news agency reported.

Azerbaijani state is taking practical measures for the development of all regions, and successfully implements programs on socio-economic development of regions of the country, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who met with representatives of the public of Azerbaijan's Agsu district, AzerTAj state news agency reported.  

"Our country is rapidly developing. According to the statistical information provided to me, over the past five years, economic growth in Agsu increased three times. This testifies that non-oil sector, agriculture in Azerbaijan are developing," said the President.

According to President, basic problems of all regions should be solved over the next four years.

"Jobs are opened, entrepreneurs are given credit, privileges are provided for agricultural development, so, full support is provided," said Ilham Aliyev.
According to the President, the country is realizing infrastructure projects.

"The roads from Baku to Shamakhi, Agsu are reconstructed and modernized. That is, the Azerbaijani economy is multifaceted economy. We ourselves have created it, and that is why even during the year, when the world is in crisis, the economy of Azerbaijan is growing. Worldwide economic indicators fell, but in Azerbaijan rose by six percent," said Ilham Aliyev.

"This was the result of work of the entire Azerbaijani people, is a reality, and the basis of all these achievements have been put by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev," said the President of Azerbaijan.
