Baku Brokers Association gets grant worth $30,000 to solve administrative issues

International Real Property Foundation and National Association of Realtors allocated the grant worth $30,000 for Baku Brokers Association, executive director of the association Elnur Azadov said on November 3. 

"The grant will be used to solve administrative issues of the association," Azadov said.

He said that special courses and trainings will be held for Azerbaijani real estate market participants within grant agreement.

International Real Property Foundation (IRPF) was founded as the independent NGO to render assistance during a transition period from a planned economy to free market relations in Central, East Europe and CIS countries.

U.S National Association of Realtors was established as National Association of Real Estate Exchanges in Chicago, Illinois, in 1908. The organization assists its members to achieve more profit and success. At present, over 1.2 million members work in the organization. It has 54 associations of states and over 1,400 local associations.    

The Baku Brokers Association was registered in the Azerbaijani ministry of justice in October 2008. The number of members hits 60 physical and legal entities in Baku Brokers Association. Membership fees for legal entities hit 300 manat but 150 manat - for physical entities. 

Major tasks of the association are to determine standards of brokers' activity in Azerbaijan, establishment of the center of special professional preparation and introduction of brokers' certification.
