Secondary residential market in Baku drops by 2.2 percent

In November, the exposition term on the secondary residential market increased 4.4 percent to 141 days, MBA Group General Director Nusret Ibrahimov said Dec. 7. 

"Last month proposals on Baku's secondary housing market fell by 4.3 percent to 3,141 points," Ibrahimov said.

In November, a significant amount of the second market's portfolio - 37.2 percent - composed two-room flats.

Last month, the bargaining dynamics on the secondary residential market in Baku fell 5.1 percent.

"The average price per square meter decreased 2.2 percent to $1,348 on the secondary residential market in November," Ibrahimov said.

The price per square meter on the secondary residential market in December 2008-January 2009 was $1,687, in February - $1,605, in February-April $1,519, in May-September $1,371, and in October-November $1,348.

The price per square meter in newly built buildings amounted to $1,298, special project housing - $1,261, Khrushchev apartments - $1,296, French apartments - $1,210, Stalin apartments - $1,610, German apartments - $1,171, Minsk apartments - $1,298, Leningrad apartments $1,278, Kiev apartments - $1,136, Italian apartments - $986, experimental apartments - $1,546 , Akhundov apartments - $481, and architectural apartments - $1,831 in November.
