Iran exported some $112,339,000 worth of handcrafts in the first nine months of current Iranian calendar year (started March 20, 2009).
The amount shows significant increase of 482 percent in the terms of value in comparison to the same period previous year, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Reported.
Iran exported $19,281,074 worth of handicrafts in the first nine months of the previous Iranian calendar year.
Iran's handicrafts exports in the Iranian month of Azar (November 22 - December 21) only showed a 294 percent increase in comparison to the year before.
