Israeli companies are ready to invest in Georgia

Israeli companies engaged in producing cardboard and food products plan to enter the Georgian market. This was announced at a meeting with Economy Minister Zurab Pololikashvili in Israel.

Israeli companies engaged in producing cardboard and food products plan to enter the Georgian market. This was announced at a meeting with Economy Minister Zurab Pololikashvili in Israel.

Pololikashvili and Israeli Minister of Finance, Yuval Steinitz signed an agreement on avoidance of double taxation, the Ministry of Economy of Georgia said May 13. During the visit, the Georgian minister also passed the Georgian-Israeli business forum in Tel Aviv.

Companies operating in Israel are seriously interested in investing in the Georgian economy, Pololikashvili said.

During the visit, Pololikashvili inspected "Cargal group" factory engaged in producing cardboard, similar production of which will be opened in Tbilisi.

He also met with the leadership of the company "Zim Group, which owns a network of supermarkets and produces food products. The company is also ready to invest in Georgia.
