Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has familiarized with reconstruction work carried out in the district central hospital within the visit to Lerik today, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The information was provided that the total area of a four-storey building is 2,100 square meters. A hospital, designed for 90 beds, is equipped with modern medical equipment, centralized heating and ventilation systems. About 200 physicians and other health employees render public services.
There are clinics, reception, infectious, therapeutic departments, maternity and children's departments, gynecology, surgery, intensive care units in the medical complex. There are ultrasound, paediatrics, ophthalmology, endoscopy, trauma and operating departments, general and biochemical laboratory. There are 12 wards with 20 beds in surgery.
