CJSC "Azerbaijan Railways" launched a new electronic system to sell passenger tickets at Baku passenger station, a statement said. Now, one-way and return tickets will be sold.
A central information base has been created to improve ticketing system, ensure its control from one centre with use the Internet, as well as improve the quality of services provided to passengers at the Baku passenger station.
Ticket sales in all ticket offices of the Baku passenger station, Ganja station and other stations of linear western zone will be implemented using a central database from August 5.
All stations in the western region were provided with a program having Internet access within the program of computerization of technologies.
