The Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents adopted the new classification presented by the State Statistics Committee, the State Statistics Committee said.
"Classification of services on economic activities" AZT 039-2010 and "Classification (list) of industrial products for the last assignment "AZT 040-2010 were approved by the order of the Chairman of the Committee Ramiz Hasanov.
The classification of services of economic activities was prepared by the State Statistics Committee in accordance with the "State program of improvement of official statistics of Azerbaijan Republic in 2008-2012" and taking into account the third version of the classification of products, based on the Central Product Classification.
According to the report, the main purpose of classification is to provide international comparison while exchanging the information.
The classification of industrial products for the last assignment is divided by economic activities: intermediate goods, energy, consumer goods of short and long-term use.
