Azerbaijani bank's assets increased by 13 percent per year

Azerbaijani AtaBank's net assets increased by 7.6 percent or 15.2 million manat, amounting to 214.5 million manat during the first three quarters of this year, the bank said. The figure increased by 13.7 percent compared to the same period of last year.

Azerbaijani AtaBank's net assets increased by 7.6 percent or 15.2 million manat, amounting to 214.5 million manat during the first three quarters of this year, the bank said. The figure increased by 13.7 percent compared to the same period of last year.

The credit portfolio increased by 6.3 percent or 8 million manat, hitting 135.4 million manat over three quarters of 2010.

The deposit portfolio increased by 8.2 percent or 11.3 million manat, exceeding 148.5 million manat during the first nine months of the year. It increased by 19.4 percent compared to the same period of last year. Physical entities' deposits increased by 5 million manat or 6.4 percent. They hit 83.8 million manat. The net profit amounted to 745.900 manat in late September.

This year the bank opened two new branches in Baku - "Capital" and "Yeni Hayat". The total number of branches is 23. The bank joined money transfer system "Zolotaya Korona" in 2010.

On Oct. 7, the official exchange rate is 0.8021 manat to $1.
