The draft state budget of Turkmenistan for 2011 will provide a regular increase in salaries, pensions, scholarships and state benefits, as well as other social benefits.
An official Turkmen source said that Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov ordered about it at a governmental meeting, by stressing this decision as a priority one.
He said that huge funds are being invested in the economy. The amount of investments has been increased by 130 percent, while wages by 12.8 percent since early 2010 compared to the same period of last year.
