President of the Iranian Supreme Audit Court Abdolreza Rahmani was elected President of the Board of Supreme Audit Institutions of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECOSAI), the Kazakh Audit Committee told Trend.
"Today Astana hosts the fifth ECOSAI assembly. Abdolreza Rahmani was elected president of the Iranian Supreme Audit Court," a message said.
Omarkhan Oksikbayev, chairman of the Kazakh Audit Committee, has become the President of ECOSAI board since October 2007.
The report said that ECOSAI VI Assembly will be held in Tehran in 2013.
ECOSAI members are Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. ECOSAI Assembly is held every three years.
