The largest airport in the Caucasus will begin in Poti in spring 2011, Arab company Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority, which is implementing the project, said.
"It is necessary to determine capacity of the airport. According to the investor, the object will be ready by 2013," the company said.
It is planned to invest several tens of millions of dollars in the project.
