The Azerbaijani State Maritime Administration conducted an operation to rescue two Azerbaijani fishermen, rubber engineless boat, which as a result of a wind direction change carried them away into the Caspian Sea, the Administration said today.
According to the Administration, the boat with Arif Bagirov and Rashad Hamidov on board was delivered to shore by using a high-speed boat owned by the Administration.
During another raid conducted today to ensure control over the rules for safe navigation in the territorial waters by the Administration's Maritime Safety Inspectorate, wind direction change brought a boat to Jupiter sandbank and fishermen who were in the boat asked for help.
