The Azerbaijani State Customs Committee has transferred 100.128 million manat to the state budget in March through the collection of customs duties and taxes. The Committee transferred 70.289 million manat to the state budget in February.
Income from customs duties amounted to 17.654 million manat, VAT on imported goods - 77.471 million manat, excise taxes - 4.109 million manat and road taxes - 0.895 million manat, the committee reported.
The forecast on committee transfers to the state budget for 2011 increased by 1.8 percent (20 million manat) to 1.120 billion manat. The figure was 240.57 million manat in January-March.
The State Customs Committee fulfilled the forecast at 100.16 percent in 2010 and transferred 1.101 billion manat to the state budget compared to the planned 1.1 billion manat
The official exchange rate is 0.7923 manat to $1 on April 11.
