The Iranian private steel production companies produced 2,829,180 tons of various steel products in seven months, ending October 2011, the Mehr news agency reported with reference to Iran's Industries and Mines Ministry .
The steel products include 205,380 tons of spar, 1,400,200 tons of steel rebar, 828,500 steel plates and 395,100 of other products, Mehr reported.
The private sector has produced 116,900 tons of various steel products in the period of Sep. 23 and Oct. 23
