The Turkish road construction company POLAT is interested in participating in the road construction in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications said today.
"POLAT executive director Shaban Polat expressed Kazakhstan's interest in the work during a meeting with Kazakh Minister of Transport and Communications Berik Kamaliev," the statement said.
POLAT company has been operating since 1945. It has been dealing with the construction work since 1975. The company is engaged in the road construction (59 percent) and railroads (six percent).
At present, POLAT constructs roads in Azerbaijan and railways - in Georgia.
