Bishkek and Beijing will hold negotiations on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project construction in April, Kanat Abdikerimov, the head of Kyrgyz Temir Jolu enterprise, railway projecting and construction department, told Trend on Monday.

"The meeting of the Kyrgyz-Chinese expert group is planned to be held in the third decade of April," he said.

Abdikerimov added that during the meeting the sides plan to discuss final determination of the project financing scheme, as well as the technical standard which will be used during the railway construction.

He added that after these issues are resolved and the final status of the project is determined, the sides will start considering the conclusion of the frame agreement on this railway construction between Kyrgyzstan and China.

"The Kyrgyz expert group considers a variant of concessional agreement on the private and state capital in this project with China," Abdikerimov said.

He added that Kyrgyzstan plans to establish a joint venture with China, which will be engaged with the construction and the exploitation of this railway segment.
