Exports from Iranian Aras Free Zone up 58 percent

Some $63 million worth of goods have been exported from the Iranian Aras Free Zone since the beginning of the current Iranian year, which began on March 20, showing a 58 percent rise over the same period last year, IRIB News reported.

The exports amounted to 67,000 tons in weight, showing 95 percent growth year on year.

The goods have been exported to Germany, Georgia, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, and the UAE.

Trucks, furniture, copper ingots, gasoline, diesel oil, kitchen equipment, carpets, and motorcycles were among the exported goods.
