Development Bank of Kazakhstan places Eurobonds worth $425 mln

"Development Bank of Kazakhstan" additionally placed Eurobonds at the amount of $ 425 million issued within the "Program for medium-term note issue" on Feb. 7, 2013 in accordance with the laws of a foreign country, the bank said.
As a result, the total amount of the sixth issue was $1.425 billion with a repayment period in 2022 and a coupon rate of 4.125 percent per annum.
Despite the unstable situation in the global financial markets, the yield to repayment with further placement hit 4.2 percent per annum, which is below the yield with the initial placement in December 2012 (4.326 percent).
A book of bids for purchasing the bank's Eurobonds exceeded the amount of the proposed attraction by 2.7 times.
The organizers of the issue are JP Morgan, VTB Capital and Halyk Finance.
