Iran plans to open permanent handicraft sale center in Beijing, China, the deputy head of Iran's Handicraft Union said on Monday.
We're also negotiating to establish some handicraft sale centers in Shanghai, the IRNA News Agency quoted Ali Mohammad Esmaeili as saying.
The Handicraft Union of Iran has participated in 3 Chinese exhibitions in the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, and Sichuan in the past few months.
The first expo was held in the city of Sichuan from Jan 20-23 and the second one was held in Beijing in February, concurrent with the Chinese New Year.
The third exhibition kicked off on March 1 in Shanghai and will close on March 5.
Director of the union's Public Relations Department, Mostafa Khoshabi, had previously said that the policy of establishing permanent handicraft sale centers in the target countries has been adopted since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 2012).
