Hungarian Minister of Economic Development Nemeth Laszlone will visit Azerbaijan to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF), to be held in Baku on April 7-8, Hungarian ambassador to Azerbaijan Zsolt Csutora told Trend on Thursday.

During his visit, Hungarian minister plans to hold several meetings in the Azerbaijani government to discuss bilateral cooperation issues.

The WEF is organizing the forum on "Strategic dialogue connected with the future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia" in Baku on April 7-8, the WEF said. The development of such sectors as industry, natural resources, transport, infrastructure, agriculture, finance, telecommunications, etc. will be discussed at the Baku forum.

The forum will become an important platform for regional and global players to assess the main challenges and opportunities associated with the future of the region, contribute to the development of cooperation and integration in the South Caucasus and Central Asia, WEF said.
