"Ekol muhendislik xidmetleri" company has completed the wastewater treatment process of the area allotted for the construction of the Olympic stadium in Sabunchu district of Baku, the company said today.
According to the report, the company cleared the area of wastewater in a volume of about 1.2 million tons.
The operations began in May last year on the basis of a contract signed by the company and SOCAR's Social Protection Department.
Ekol Muhendislik Xidmetleri was established in March 2006 to resolve the environmental problems on the Absheron Peninsula. SOCAR (51 percent) and Lancer SA Services (49 percent) are its co-founders.
